All of our memorial jewelry is original and made to order in our Cocoa, Florida studio.  Each piece of our cremation ashes jewelry costs $225 with free shipping.  You will be sent a small kit to collect and send the cremation ashes.  A $75 deposit is due when the ashes are sent to us.  The remainder will be due when the cremation ashes jewelry is completed and ready to ship.  Delivery can be expected within one month from the day we receive the ashes. Our Stones The stones in our memorial jewelry are created out of a space age glass developed by NASA during the Apollo era.  The micro thin metallic coatings were designed to protect astronauts from cosmic rays. This glass transmits and reflects beautiful colors with changes in direction. Above you will see Neil Armstrong and the lunar lander reflected in Buzz Aldrin’s glass helmet front.  The StarSeed stones in our cremation jewelry are created using the same kind of glass. This space age glass, often called chameleon, fusing or dichroic glass, is produced in a costly process.  Micro layers of metals are sprayed on the glass in a vacuum.  This method creates crystalline structures which fracture light. The stones in our cremation ashes jewelry are created using two to four layers of glass, and we fuse the cremation ashes within the layers.  The ashes are first coated with a luminescent solution, making them absorb light continuously, causing the ashes to become visible and to gently sparkle in darkness or under UV light.  The stones in our cremation ashes jewelry are designed to resemble a beautiful night sky.  StarSeed Gems are trademarked.  Currently, we know of no other cremation ashes jewelry which  include stones of this kind containing luminescent particles applied to chameleon glass in this way.

Our Settings The settings of our cremation ashes jewelry are created by hand using Precious Metal Clay (PMC) or Art Clay Silver, developed by Aida Chemical Industries in 1992.  Silver molecules are mixed with an organic binder, and at high kiln temperatures the binder burns away, leaving solid .999 fine silver.  (Sterling silver is not as pure at only .925.) This excellent medium makes it possible to hand sculpt the settings for our cremation jewelry using shells, textures we have made using our native sands and coquina, as well as creating settings directly from living plant leaves.  The results are beautiful and organic pieces of cremation ashes jewelry and each piece is one-of-a-kind.       Aida Chemical Industries is a ‘green’ company, collecting and reclaiming used metals from computer circuit boards and photographic supplies.  The process used to create this silver medium is designed to have minimal effects on the environment.
